In 3rd grade, my best friend and I thought that Hephaestus was pronounced hepatitis. We ran around yelling “We’re children of hepatitis!”
Percy and Annabeth literally complete each other.
Annabeth is overconfident and Percy is not-so-confident, so Annabeth inspires confidence in Percy and Percy encourages modesty in Annabeth.
Annabeth is also searching for permanence and Percy is fiercely devoted and loyal, which assures he will always be there for her.
I don’t know why I just thought of this, I was just thinking about their personalities and realized they give each other what they need.
